Borders Drawn in Blood
Dante is on the run from the Catholic church in Florence. He has the temerity to write a poem with thinly veiled references to various leaders of the church in which they are not seen in the righteous light they would prefer. Chief amongst his assailants is one new Cardinal in Florence, Cardinal Durante.
With the Party’s assistance he has managed to become the latest of Rosa’s “philosophers” where he hopes to complete his supposed masterpiece.
